Recombinant BMP's

Furthermore to having made significant progress with its lead development product, BBS is creating an exciting early stage pipeline, based on a number of recombinant BMPs with the objective of establishing a new generation of bone growth inducing agents and devices and to improve further the therapeutic arsenal for orthopaedic, trauma, maxillofacial and dental surgeons. BBS has an active research program on the cloning, characterization and protein expression of several reindeer BMPs, some of which are unique in structure and activity to those currently discovered. Research in this area can support further Artebone® product characterization as well as provide independent product development opportunities for BBS.
